I am an artist from Helsinki, Finland. I have studied both in Finland and the UK.
I have exhibited in London since 2010. I have been shortlisted for inclusion in the Threadneedle prize.
I use figurative elements from the landscape around me and make them abstract. In my print making I explore what the line can express.
I then try to combine the two in order to make one whole.
I take inspiration from Kalevala the Finnish Epos, which tells the stories of how the world was created. I am currently exploring Symbolism and its relevance to contemporary painting.
I am currently in my last year of a Fine Art Diploma Course in the Art Academy, London.
My work is in private collections in UK and Finland
