Moich Abrahams trained at St Martins School of Art (Byam Shaw) first class honours, 1970-73, and later an MA at Goldsmiths College, 1980-82. Moich was elected member of The London Group (1977) and has shown many times with them since 1975."
"Although, my art career started a good while back, I feel that I am sitting in the seat of an emerging artist because there have been long gaps in my painting career doing other amazing things eg. as a mathematician, special educational needs advisor or running workshops training people to develop intuition as a skill. However, since the muse began to whisper in my ear again (2003), I have gently been getting back into painting."
Moich enjoys combining spontaneity and playfulness with exploring deeper aspects of the unconscious. He is fascinated with both unwrapping the mysterious and reinventing child-like expressiveness. Central to this process is the art of 'letting go'.
Since everything is none other than exactly as it is one may well just break out in laughter (Long Chen Pa)."
