Between Stillness and Pulse explored the breath of time and the rhythm of the body, inviting reflection on how perception unfolds within moments of pause and motion. Stillness and movement were presented not as opposites, but as coexisting forces, like inhale and exhale, shaping a shared temporal experience.

13 to 15 December 2025Solo Exhibition Stone Hills Zero
Artist: Nazlı Akıncı Exhibition Moments
Opening Night: 13 December | 6 pm to 9 pm About the ExhibitionStone Hills Zero refers to a group of archaeological sites located in the Şanlıurfa region of Türkiye, dating back approximately twelve thousand years. The area contains the earliest known ritual structures, monumental T shaped stone pillars and a sophisticated symbolic language that predates writing. Sites such as Göbeklitepe, Karahantepe, Sefertepe, Sayburç and Nevali Çori reveal that pre agricultural communities created shared ritual spaces and developed complex symbolic expression. Nevali Çori stands out through its early temple architecture and remarkable human figures. Stone Hills reshapes our understanding of early human history, demonstrating that social organisation and belief systems are far older and more intricate than once assumed. This exhibition reimagines this ancient legacy through the lens of contemporary art. Exhibition StatementStone Hills refers to a group of archaeological sites located within and around the province of Şanlıurfa in Türkiye, dating back approximately twelve thousand years. The region contains the earliest known ritual structures, monumental stone pillars and an advanced symbolic language created long before written communication emerged. Hunter gatherer communities were capable of building shared ritual spaces, sophisticated architectural layouts and complex symbolic expressions long before the advent of agriculture. Nevali Çori marks a significant stage in this cultural development through its early temple architecture and remarkable human sculptures. Stone Hills reshapes our understanding of early human history, revealing that social organisation, belief systems and communal rituals are far older and far more complex than previously assumed. This exhibition seeks to reinterpret the universal legacy of Stone Hills through the lens of contemporary art. Nazlı Akıncı

Opening Night: Saturday 13 December | 6 pm – 9 pm About the ExhibitionEntropy explored the quiet certainty of decay through the persistent return of a single geometric form. The circle, long regarded as a symbol of wholeness and timeless perfection, entered a slow and deliberate unraveling. Order softened, lines blurred, and meanings began to slip away. Each work originated from an intention to establish structure: repeated circles, rhythmic fields, and visual systems that promised stability. Yet the material followed its own ancient logic. Pigment drifted, layers mingled, and boundaries dissolved. What began as control gradually transformed into uncertainty. The circle was chosen deliberately. As the purest of forms, a closed universe and emblem of completeness, it was here exposed. Its edges softened, its identity faded, and each repetition became an echo of what it once declared. The works existed on thresholds: intention meeting accident, construction sliding toward dissolution, presence leaning into disappearance. Every layer marked a moment. Every drip carried the quiet weight of entropy. The canvases stood as a testament to time’s patient erosion, becoming an archive of both becoming and unbecoming.

Artist: Tariell Barsamian Exhibition MomentsAtmosphere: Intimacy, humour, vulnerability and emotional honesty About the ExhibitionDear Future Wife begins with letters written to a woman who never appears. Along the way, something far more tender unfolds. The quiet pressure to grow up, the weight of becoming a man, and the moment love becomes real only when we stop performing and start telling the truth. Through simple drawings and disarming humour, the works trace a journey of longing, pretending, searching and hoping. A path where boyhood dreams shift, soften, and slowly give way to honesty. The exhibition reveals the space between the life we are taught to want and the life we are brave enough to live. At its heart, it is a celebration of vulnerability and the gentle, chaotic process of becoming oneself. Exhibition StatementDear Future Wife is an art project built around a series of illustrations and letters. What began as a playful idea, writing to a woman who repeatedly refused to appear, gradually grew into a full exhibition. The project offers a light yet honest way to process the pressure to grow up, to settle down and to become a man. It follows the evolution of love, identity and social expectations, showing how childhood fantasies about a future partner slowly shift as life becomes real. Through humour, naivety and deliberately simple language paired with minimalist drawings, the work traces a journey of searching, longing, pretending and hoping, and eventually growing up. It examines the gap between the life we are taught to want and the life we are brave enough to live. At its core, the project reflects on connection, inherited expectations and the moment we realise that real love begins only when we stop performing and start telling the truth. Dear Future Wife is not about becoming braver through love, but about becoming brave enough to allow love to exist. It is a celebration of vulnerability and the tender chaos of becoming yourself.

Opening Night: 10 December | 6 pm to 8 pm About the ExhibitionBetween Stillness and Motion brings together photographs in which time rests on a quiet threshold, where movement softens and stillness begins to breathe. A lone sheep in marshlands, a fleeting shimmer of light, a gesture caught between presence and disappearance. Each image becomes a subtle echo of life as it unfolds. The exhibition invites viewers to pause and to witness the delicate pulse between what changes and what remains. Exhibition StatementThis exhibition gathers fragments from across time and place, from the rhythm of urban life to the hush of distant marshes, from ritual gestures to refracted domestic light. Each photograph emerges from a distinct body of work, yet together they explore a shared question. How does the world reveal itself when we pause long enough to look. Some works dwell in movement, such as the blur of neon lit crowds or the suspended arc of a fishing net over water. Others lean into stillness, a solitary sheep, a crumpled bloom, a Venetian mask held by the quiet gaze of the lens. Light acts as a sculptor throughout, splitting through glass, veiling figures in mist, or soaking the sky in ceremonial gold. Grouped across five visual threads titled Salt Marshes, Myanmar, Red Rush, Carnival and Studies in Refraction, the photographs invite the viewer to shift registers and encounter the world as something both fragile and theatrical, sacred and fleeting. These are not unified narratives, but visual notations of presence. Between stillness and motion, clarity and abstraction, the work invites quiet attention to gesture, to texture and to time as it unfolds.

Private View: Friday 21 November | 6 pm to 9 pm About the ExhibitionEchoes of the Future marked the seventy ninth international project of Nidra Art Project and brought together contemporary artists from diverse cultural backgrounds, each presenting a distinct voice oriented toward what lies ahead. More than a reflection of the present, the works acted as intuitions that resonated forward in time. Through memory, emotion and inner journeys, the exhibition traced subtle imprints on the evolving landscape of the future. 22 to 25 October 2025Brazilian Children Take Art to LondonChildren Coloring The World
Exhibition Dates: 22 to 25 October 2025 About the ExhibitionThe international project Children Coloring The World, created by visual artist and educator Luciana Severo, brings the talent of young Brazilian artists to the international stage. In October 2025, a group of twenty two child artists from the Luciana Severo School of Arts will take part in a collective exhibition at Espacio Gallery in London. Having already travelled through France, Italy, the United States, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Portugal, the project celebrates children’s creativity while promoting solidarity and social responsibility. Part of its actions are dedicated to social causes, bringing joy and hope to children in vulnerable situations. The London programme offers a rich cultural immersion, including museum visits, artistic experiences and participation in the exhibition, where young artists from Piauí will present their work alongside talents from different parts of the world. With eight years of continuous activity, more than three hundred participating children, and numerous international recognitions including the International Top of Mind Award received in London in 2024, Children Coloring The World continues to inspire audiences worldwide. With this new stage in London, the project reaffirms its mission to colour the world with children’s art, spreading culture, solidarity and hope. Luciana Severo, creator of the project, will accompany the group alongside other artists representing Brazil during this important international chapter.

Private View: Friday 10 October | 6 pm to 9 pm About the ExhibitionThe Doors of the Regent Palace Hotel presented a new body of work by London based painter Dr Rupert Record. The exhibition explored silence, resilience and transformation through layered abstraction, combining autobiography, architectural references and LGBTQ plus histories. Drawing on his experiences of coming out as a young gay man in the 1980s and 1990s, Record translated memory into luminous compositions where silence became a space of empathy, self acceptance and renewal. Through architectural motifs, traces of the body and layered colour, the paintings invited viewers into an intimate dialogue between vulnerability and strength, reimagining masculinity as fluid, inclusive and deeply human. Each canvas became a space where memory, identity and renewal quietly unfolded.

Private View: Thursday 2 October | 6 pm to 9 pm About the ExhibitionSafe Spaces brought together visual artists responding to the themes of security, safety and belonging, with particular focus on the lived experiences of children and young people in street situations. Through a diverse range of artistic approaches, the exhibition explored wider questions of mental health, identity, community and resilience, offering deeply personal and socially engaged reflections on what it means to feel safe or unsafe. The exhibition aimed to raise awareness, foster empathy and generate social impact through visual storytelling, amplifying voices from emerging to established artists while supporting meaningful social change. Creating safe spaces was presented not only as a matter of shelter, but of dignity, identity and belonging.

Private View: Thursday 11 September | 6 pm to 9 pm About the ExhibitionComing Out of the Art Womb marked the return of Jon C Woods after nearly forty years of artistic silence. Rooted in radical vulnerability, the exhibition explored queerness, belonging and identity through bold colour, visceral imagery and recurring motifs, questioning the uneasy gaze between artist, viewer and subject. Woods is an artist and art psychotherapist with over three decades of work within the NHS. This exhibition unveiled a body of work long kept private due to censorship and social pressure, including what the artist refers to as the Cornish Art Mafia. The exhibition was produced by his children as an act of admiration and a response to its long absence from public view. A colourful journey through identity, belonging and self exploration.

26 August to 6 September 2025The International Art Prize in LondonTop 10 London 2025 International Contemporary Art Prize
Exhibition Dates: 26 August to 6 September 2025 About the ExhibitionEspacio Gallery was delighted to host the Top 10 London 2025 International Contemporary Art Prize, an initiative organised by PitturiAmo to celebrate outstanding artistic talent from across the UK and beyond. This special project presented a curated video and live exhibition of selected works, offering artists international exposure in the heart of London. From painting and sculpture to photography and digital practices, the exhibition embraced a wide range of styles and techniques under the theme Freedom of Expression. A distinguished jury selected the Top 10 Artists, who were invited to take part in a year long collaborative programme with Espacio Gallery. This included participation in two group exhibitions, promotional features across gallery platforms and the opportunity to build meaningful connections within an international artistic network. The event was promoted through L’Espresso, one of Italy’s leading national magazines, reaching over three million readers. PitturiAmo is a renowned Italian contemporary art platform dedicated to supporting artists worldwide. Through exhibitions, competitions, catalogues and multimedia initiatives, it connects emerging and established talents with curators, collectors and galleries, fostering a dynamic ecosystem for artistic growth and international visibility. Opening Reception: Friday 31 July | 6 pm to 9 pm About the ExhibitionSince its founding in New York’s East Village in 2007, spaceD9 Gallery has been dedicated to discovering the creative protagonists of tomorrow and showcasing the artistic excellence of Korean artists worldwide. Each year, spaceD9 organises the Art Discovery Project to foster cultural exchange between artists from Korea and the United States. In parallel, the Harmony Project operates as an art healing initiative for refugee children in regions including Africa, Syria and Ukraine. In 2025, the Art Discovery Project extends its journey to London with the special exhibition Primal Curiosity. This long awaited project, previously delayed by the pandemic and financial challenges, is finally realised at Espacio Gallery. Alongside the exhibition, the Harmony Project also ran special programming for refugee children in the UK. We hope the precious works created by our artists will be beautifully presented in London, creating positive impact through art.

The exhibition brought together abstract, contemporary and expressive artworks that explored emotion, perception and the beauty that exists beyond colour itself.
