Use only low tack masking tape or equivalent gentle adhesives to fix labels. This protects the gallery walls and ensures safe removal after the exhibition.
Standard gallery procedure
Low tack masking tape only
Attach the label to the back edge of your artwork using low tack masking tape. This approach is recommended as it creates a clean, discreet presentation and avoids placing any adhesive directly on the gallery walls.
To ensure a smooth and professional installation, all artwork labels must be prepared in advance and brought ready on installation day.
Carefully prepared labels help maintain a consistent and refined presentation throughout the exhibition.
Please bring your labels printed from home. Sturdy paper or card is recommended, with foamboard strongly preferred for a clean and professional finish.
All labels must be ready and brought with you on the day of installation.
Labels should not be printed or prepared at the gallery.
If you are sending your artwork to the gallery by courier, your printed label must be included inside the same package as your artwork.
This ensures your work can be installed correctly and without delay.
If you prefer, you may purchase artwork labels directly through our website.
We will prepare, print and neatly attach the labels for you, ready for installation.
This option is ideal for artists who would like a fully handled and consistent presentation.

Key details such as title, medium, dimensions and date are missing or unclear, requiring visitors to ask for clarification. Labels like this can create confusion and disrupt the viewing experience.
Please ensure all labels are completed and printed before installing your artworks.

Made of solid steel to provide strength, stability and precise vertical alignment.
Simply place the rod into the rail. No hooks or tools are required.
Suitable for artworks weighing up to 40 kg.
Best suited for heavier artworks or when a straight, uninterrupted vertical line is desired.
Ideal for lightweight artworks and situations where minimal visual impact is preferred.
Clear nylon cord (Perlon) designed to blend discreetly into the gallery wall.
Pre attached with a STAS Cobra head for quick and straightforward installation.
Suitable for artworks weighing up to 7 kg.
Best suited for lightweight frames and installations where a minimal visual presence is required.
Please do not cut the gallery’s nylon or steel hanging cords.
If the cord is longer than required, gently roll the excess instead of trimming it.
Secure the rolled cord behind the artwork using low tack masking tape only.
Keeping the cords intact allows them to be reused for future exhibitions. Thank you for your cooperation.
To protect the gallery space and ensure consistency across all exhibitions, the following restrictions apply to all installations.
Approved method:
Artworks must be installed exclusively using the
gallery approved hanging system.
Espacio Gallery provides the required hanging equipment for your exhibition. Please ensure that only the materials supplied by the gallery are used for installation.
Nylon cords or steel rods
Adjustable hooks
The STAS hanging system allows artworks to be repositioned easily, both horizontally and vertically, without causing any damage to the gallery walls.
Hooks move smoothly along the rail and cord, making fine adjustments simple during installation.
This guide explains how to use the gallery hanging system correctly, ensuring a clean, professional and consistent presentation.
Following these guidelines helps protect artworks, walls and installation materials throughout the exhibition.
Espacio Gallery uses the STAS system, trusted by professional galleries for its flexibility, precision and discreet finish.
We recommend using standard D rings that are compatible with the Espacio Gallery hanging system. This ensures stability, safety and correct alignment when installing your artwork.
You can purchase suitable D rings via the link below:
amzn.to/453bQkX
This link is provided for convenience. You may purchase D rings from any supplier, provided they meet the required specifications.
Before installing the D rings, confirm which edge of the frame is the top. Correct orientation is essential for accurate hanging and alignment.
D rings must be installed 8 cm from the top edge of the frame, following the Espacio Gallery hanging system specifications.
Using a tape measure, measure 8 cm down from the top inner edge of the frame on both the left and right sides.
Make a small pencil mark on each side of the frame. These marks will indicate where the D rings should be installed.
Check that both marks are level and evenly positioned. Accurate measurements ensure a straight and secure hang at Espacio Gallery.
Place each D ring directly over the 8 cm mark. Make sure the ring is centred on the frame width and facing upwards.
Using a screwdriver or drill, fix the D rings firmly with the supplied screws. Ensure they are secure and do not move.
Confirm that both D rings are fixed at the same height and are fully secure. This prevents the artwork from hanging unevenly.
