If you are sending your artwork to the gallery by courier, your printed label must be included inside the same package as your artwork.

This ensures your work can be installed correctly and without delay.

Optional label service

If you prefer, you may purchase artwork labels directly through our website.

We will prepare, print and neatly attach the labels for you, ready for installation.

How not to label your artwork

Below is an example of an artwork label that does not meet gallery standards. This label provides very limited information, showing only the artist’s name.

Key details such as title, medium, dimensions and date are missing or unclear, requiring visitors to ask for clarification. Labels like this can create confusion and disrupt the viewing experience.

Recommended D rings box

Identify the Top of Your Frame

Check frame orientation

Before installing the D rings, confirm which edge of the frame is the top. Correct orientation is essential for accurate hanging and alignment.

Espacio Gallery standard

D rings must be installed 8 cm from the top edge of the frame, following the Espacio Gallery hanging system specifications.

Identify the top of the frame

Measure 8 cm from the Top

Measuring 8 cm from the top of the frame

Measure carefully

Using a tape measure, measure 8 cm down from the top inner edge of the frame on both the left and right sides.

Mark both sides

Make a small pencil mark on each side of the frame. These marks will indicate where the D rings should be installed.

Ensure correct alignment

Check that both marks are level and evenly positioned. Accurate measurements ensure a straight and secure hang at Espacio Gallery.

Install the D Rings

Installing D rings on the frame

Position the D rings

Place each D ring directly over the 8 cm mark. Make sure the ring is centred on the frame width and facing upwards.

Secure with screws

Using a screwdriver or drill, fix the D rings firmly with the supplied screws. Ensure they are secure and do not move.

Final check

Confirm that both D rings are fixed at the same height and are fully secure. This prevents the artwork from hanging unevenly.
