Giuseppe Bevilacqua is an Italian contemporary painter whose work investigates the subconscious and the transformation of dreams into visual form. His compositions emerge from an introspective process where imagination and perception intertwine.

Through layered surfaces and mixed techniques, his paintings construct dense, tactile spaces in which color is both applied and erased, generating a dynamic tension between presence and absence, clarity and obscurity.

Situated between figuration and abstraction, his visual language allows the material itself to become a carrier of emotion, memory and psychological depth.

Artistic Statement

Bevilacqua’s work invites a slow and contemplative gaze. Each composition unfolds gradually, revealing hidden narratives and subconscious imagery, where the boundaries between reality and dream dissolve into a continuous dialogue between the viewer and the painting.
