About the Exhibition
JOY is an exhibition exploring the effects of colour and brightness, and their absence, on the human mind. It reflects on how industrialisation and minimalism have shaped emotional perception and visual environments in contemporary life. Bringing together a diverse group of contemporary artists, the exhibition highlights bold, vibrant and expressive practices that challenge neutrality and reintroduce intensity, warmth and emotional resonance through colour. At its core, JOY celebrates artists who embrace luminous palettes and visual energy, reclaiming space for feeling, playfulness and human connection within the contemporary artistic landscape.
