Lisa Kreuziger works across the spectrum of contemporary abstraction.
Although she refuses to limit herself to one signature style, her work has a set of recognizable elements: the reduction of form to simple shapes, a clear sense of interval, placement and line, bold contrasts and the exaggeration of color.
SunCity, an ongoing series of abstract cityscapes set up here, is exemplary of her approach.
Her figurative works are also abstracted from literal likeness. By blending figuration and abstraction, she creates anthropomorphic environments pointing to issues of contemporary life.
Being a graduate of J.W. Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany, Lisa Kreuziger has lived and worked in Germany, the US and the UK. Currently, she mainly lives in London.
She is a member of KUEV Artists’ Association, involved with The Artists’ Pool London and has recently been awarded international artist status by the IAA – International Association of Art.
Her work has been shown internationally in numerous exhibitions.
