Terms & Conditions of Participation
Exhibition: Materiality – The Language of Matter
1. Selection, Fees & Sales
- Submission: Free of charge. Fees apply only upon selection.
- Participation Fee: Based on selected wall space. Non-refundable once paid.
- Payment Window: Invoices must be settled within 2 calendar days to guarantee space reservation.
- 0% Commission: No commission is charged on sales. Artists manage payments directly with buyers.
- Taxes: Artists are responsible for their own tax/VAT compliance.
2. Installation & Gallery Standards
- Gallery System: Only the approved rod/cable system is allowed. Strictly no nails or screws.
- D-Rings: All works must have two D-rings (7cm from top) for safe balance.
- Wall Care: Artists must clean their area post-exhibition. Damage to walls or floor (1700s historic wood) will incur repair charges.
- Schedule: Installation: 28 Jan (1pm-8pm). Takedown: 3 Feb (1pm-8pm). Late collection: £25/day storage fee.
3. Evening Reception (Vernissage)
Participation in the reception is a collaborative effort. Per every 5 guests, artists contribute:
- 1 bottle of beverage (wine/bubbly) + 1 litre of juice.
- Small snacks/finger food to share.
4. Health, Safety & Content
- Environment: Works must be suitable for a family-friendly public space.
- Prohibited: No open flames, smoke machines, toxic materials, or strong odours.
- Liability: The Gallery is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to artworks. Private insurance is strongly encouraged.
5. Social Media & Branding
- Tagging: Tag @espaciogallery and use #espaciogallery on all posts.
- Collaboration: Artists are encouraged to invite the gallery as a "collaborator" on Instagram for wider reach.
Final Declaration: By submitting your application and payment, you confirm full acceptance of these terms. Participation is governed by the professional standards of Espacio Gallery London.
