Terry’s work is concerned with creating a sense of depth and form through the use of colour and colour relationships.
‘My work continues to explore colour and the ways in which colour relationships can create a sense of depth and form. The work is not representational in an obvious sense , but may allude to landscape- I like to leave the interpretation up to the viewer. Some is made as a response to observed elements in the world around me, and my use of colour has been informed to some extent by my childhood in Africa. I use a wide range of materials and techniques to achieve the effects I am after, including acrylics, collage and mono-printing.”
She uses various media to achieve her desired effects, including acrylics, mono-printing and collage. She has exhibited widely and has work in numerous private and corporate collections.
