About the Exhibition

In an era defined by acceleration and constant connectivity, are we still able to pause?

Suspended Time is a group exhibition exploring the experience of temporality in contemporary life. As urban environments increasingly measure time through productivity, efficiency and visibility, moments of stillness become rare.

Suspension, whether through delay, repetition, waiting or emotional stillness, offers an alternative rhythm that challenges the pace of modern life. Artists have long explored the elasticity of time through image, movement and material. From the stillness of photography to the duration of moving image and the spatial presence of installation, time becomes something that can be felt, extended and embodied.

This exhibition brings together an international selection of artists working across disciplines, inviting audiences to reflect on how time can be interrupted, stretched and held within artistic practice.
