Tania Beaumont

Tania Beaumont is a mixed media artist in the broadest sense, using many media to create paintings and original prints, often combined with handwritten pages and monoprinted collage papers.
She has an extensive visual database of memories and images that she incorporates to produce works with narrative and ambiguity. She trained at J.J. School of Art , Bombay, Liverpool College of Art (Fine Art Hons) and Goldsmith's College, London (Postgraduate Diploma in Textile Design). Part of her childhood was spent in West Africa and India and, in 1979, she married a civil engineer and the expatriate life continued - exhibiting in Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, West Indies, Morocco and the UAE - returning to London for good in January 2011. She is also a member of the Printmakers Council Group and the AAH - West London Open Studios Artists at Home.
