I have a great interest in the human form in ways in which style and creativity can be expressed.  I enjoy working with dry mediums like charcoal and pastel because they are quick and instant.  I like studying, shading, tonal values and blending, dry mediums allow you to explore this I also work with a rubber and use it as a tool in creating my work

Because of my fashion background all of my works have a stylish flair about them. This comes through a lot in my Black and White series

More recently I have been working with flat colour influenced by the works of ‘David Hockney’and also ‘Alex Katz’. All the works in my ‘Beach Ready’ Series are strongly colour orientated with ‘Flat’ colour being a theme throughout

I am inspired by the works of ‘Klimt’ for his erotic sensual style, ‘Toulouse Le Trec’ is a favourite for his figurative free flowing style and ‘David Hockney’ for his large scale works

I enjoy art and feel it is a great way to make your make and express your creativity
